Roma ISD Highlights Hard Work of District Principals during Texas Principals Month
The Roma ISD School Board and Administration honored the school district’s principals for their hard work and dedication at the October 10, 2018 School Board Meeting. Roma ISD principals for the 2018-2019 school year include Edgar Garza, Delia G. Garcia Elementary; Yvonne Guerrero, Emma Vera Elementary School; Diana Salinas, F.J. Scott Elementary School; Odette Garcia, R. & C. Saenz Elementary School; Olga V. Gonzalez, R.T. Barrera Elementary School; Leida P. Reyes, Veterans Memorial Elementary School; Rodrigo Bazan, Ramiro Barrera Middle School; Danelo Gonzalez Jr., Roma Middle School; Ildefonso Saldivar Jr., Roma High School; and Maria T. Ramirez, Instruction and Guidance Center.
“The hard work and leadership of our principals is evident in the results we have seen for our academics – we are the only A-rated school district is Starr County,” said Roma ISD School Board President Raul P. Moreno Jr. “These 10 principals have built tremendous teams that work together to ensure our students have every opportunity to excel not just academically, but in extracurricular activities as well. We are blessed to have these wonderful leaders at Roma ISD. It is not easy to be a principal and we know our campuses are in good hands with these individuals at the helm.
